About ExamPass
Which syllabuses does ExamPass cover?
Cambridge International AS & A Level Economics (9708) and Cambridge IGCSE Economics (0455). There are full courses for IGCSE, AS and A Level, each following the syllabus in order.
See the coursesIs ExamPass made or endorsed by Cambridge?
No. ExamPass is an independent service built by a practising Cambridge Economics teacher. Cambridge names and syllabus codes are used only to identify the courses.
About ExamPassWhere do the questions come from?
Practice questions are Cambridge past-paper questions. Each one is matched to the syllabus point it tests, which is how ExamPass can show you which topics are costing you marks. Study notes are written from the syllabus, not copied from revision guides.
Does the IGCSE course follow the new syllabus?
Yes. The IGCSE course follows the current 0455 syllabus. Past-paper questions were written for the previous version, so each one is matched to the current syllabus point it covers. We say this openly because a few topics were reorganised between the two versions.
Using ExamPass
Do I need an account?
Not to start. You can read course lessons and try a free sample paper without signing up. A free account saves your progress across devices and lets you have written answers marked.
Create a free accountWhat is the difference between Practice mode and Exam mode?
Practice mode shows the correct answer and an explanation straight after each question. Exam mode gives you a 60-minute countdown with no feedback until you submit, like the real paper.
What happens if I close the page halfway through a paper?
Your unfinished answers are saved in your browser and you can pick up where you left off on the same device. In Exam mode the timer keeps running while you are away, as it would in a real exam.
Does it work on a phone?
Yes. ExamPass runs in any modern web browser on a phone, tablet or computer. There is no app to install.
How does ExamPass help me decide what to revise?
After you submit a paper, and on your dashboard, ExamPass shows your weakest topics across all your attempts. Each one links to the study note, flashcards, diagram practice and more questions for that topic.

How are written answers marked?
Written answers are marked with AI, guided by the Cambridge level descriptors for the question. You get a level and a mark, what you did well, and what would lift the answer higher. Where one is available, a sample answer is shown afterwards so you can compare it with your own.
Is the AI mark the same as a real exam mark?
No. It is a revision aid, not an official mark, and it can be wrong. Use it to see where an answer is weak and how to improve it. If a mark looks unreasonable, please tell us through the support page.

What happens to my data?
ExamPass stores your account details and revision activity so it can save your progress and mark your answers. Written answers are sent to an AI provider only to produce your feedback, so please do not include your name or contact details in an answer. Card details are handled by the payment provider and are never stored by ExamPass.
